Extrude a circle along a path problems

I've done this before but I seem to have forgot a step. I'm creating a cord for an amp by extruding a circle along a path. When I select apply the cord tapers off at the end. It goes from the size of the circle to 0 radius on the other side. Any answers? Thanks in advance!

Reset the setting to default, then make sure to centre the pivot on the circle and the curve. Then select the circle and the curve and go to surface->extrude. Now, I don't have maya here so i'm going from memory.

You want component pivot on, extrude as tube. I think everything else can be default. If that doesn't work, post a picture of the settings for the extrude command, and I can help you.
