Hi :hello I am new in Maya. Congratz for this good site. I was learning 3ds Max (at least I was able to model a pawn :laugh ) but people advised Maya so I am trying to learn it now. I have Maya 7. I looked at the site a little and I think it is a little bit confusing. I dont know anything about Maya so should I start with introduction to maya animation walk cycle ?? The thing I really want is using the things I modeled and animated in Maya in my some amateur videos. I have Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects. So is Maya the program I need or should I try different program?
Thx for all help. I'll be here to ask more questions :)

I think if you've never used it and you need to get into it, the DVD Introduction to Maya: 2nd Edition is really what you need to watch.
