Need car help

Im working on the maya car design program and im ont the first part of it and cannot figure out how to get the grid on top of the car if someone knows how to do that it wud b awesome

Grid? move the images planes and model down. or use xray mode so u can see everything, if thats what u mean, post a snapshop if u can if its otherwise :)

FYI - it seems that this bug is now fixed in Maya 8
