Just one question:
How does one create hair on a polygonal human head?

First of all you need to create UV's if you dont have some now.Then go to "Dynamics" ,select your head, there "Hair" there "Create Hair" but on head I think (and I use ) "Paint Hair Follicles" set the settings and now like an artisan, paint on the head geometry.After painting you could scale your hair by "Scale Hair Tool" just draging with left mouse button to the left and to the right :wink: Hope this helps just a bit :laugh Hope you make your ideas live...

Don't apply "hair" to the actual head. Create a scalp area by duplicating the faces of the head where you want the hair to be. Creating nice hair is a complex process, with styling and all, so I'd suggest to check out the hair kit from DT.
