Can't see layer list in 3DS max 2009

Does anyone know how to view or turn on the Layer List in 3DS max 2009? I can't seem to figure out how to turn it on.

Hi questvr3,
Try right-clicking somewhere on the main toolbar and selecting "layers". That should do the trick.

Thanks for the reply. I did that initially. It was showing everything in the layer toolbar except the layer list. After some tinkering I removed the layer tool bar from my UI and re-added it then I saw the layer list.
