Hi,
I have a question. When i hold down my mouse button in this tool, it doesn't affect my nurbs surface. But if i click continuously, it works. But this is tiresome. Is there an easier way to use it?

Sorry, it works now but it's a bit slow. Is it normal?

Can you be specific about this tool? It also might be that your mouse has gone bad, or that its setting are not set to default under "Control Panel". However, if it's working fine in other applications then you'd have to check Maya's settings and preferences. I don't have Maya handy right now so I can't say for sure which setting you have to tweak.

Its also a bit heavy on performance....not to be compared to zbrush sculpting performance, at least up to date. Alot of tweaks have been made in the previous versions to make it user friendlier and not so heavy on the performance. So keep in mind if you're pc isnt really a workhorse it might be a bit sluggish, some people even encouter drawing issues due to gfx card incompatabilities with older ati cards for instance. So just keep in mind thats its normal that the performance isnt quite so satisfying. If you have a good pc than the tool should function nicely however.

reset your setting to default, you can change the max displacmement so that it is very small, that way you would have to click many times before noticing any difference. Make you max displacement very big and put the strength to max, then see what happens.

My mouse is working very well, Djvoyager. I think it shouldn't be broken. It must be concern with Maya & my graphics card. Because Maya doesn't support my x800xt. So what should i do? Can i change my graphic card?
Note: Laxman, it didn't work. It's still slow.

Yeah, you'd probably have to change your graphic card. Check out this list of qualified cards for Maya.

But this list doesn't include GeForce FX cards, and I know from experience GeForce FX 5600-5700 Ultra are compatible with Maya, they're a lot cheaper as well.
Good luck!
