Hi everyone.
please I need help :help: to buy a new graphic card and I knew that there is some issue with the ati radeon and the geforce cards. And the card that I can provide is one of those:
RADEON X1600 Pro
RADEON X1600 XT
GeForce 7300 GT
GeForce 7600 GS
so please if there is any could help to chose one of them I'll be so greatfull.

If you're asking about their compatibility with Maya then Nvidia is better than ATI. Also keep in mind that the machine and the operating systerm can affect the performance of the card. Maya's version is a factor too. Maya 7 did not sit well with my friend's ATI, it did not show the control handles in the view ports, so he switched to a previous version of Maya...it worked.
I don't know how compatible the Geforce you've mentioned are with 3D apps but they're one of the better ones on the chart ianzits provided. From my experience, I'd recommend a GeForce FX Ultra 5600 or 5700. There's rarely an issue with these.

Im using the RADEON X1600 currently and had no bigger issues with it so far if that helps a little... but i would also look at the links provided above to make sure. If you can afford a fire gl high end type of card specific for open gl type of tasks i would recommend to go with a open gl specific card.
