Render Help

Nuke is awesome but I'm having a hard time rendering. It keeps telling me it can't render because it's open on another application. I've checked several times and have it only opened on Nuke. I'm also in PLE rendering in H.264, I tried rendering in just medium quality mov and best mov before going to H.264. I want to be able to render and see it in FCP. Can anyone help?

Hi Purplegirl321,

You might try changing the name of the movie file you're trying to write out. Adding a version number is a common tactic myMovie_v1, _v2, _v3 etc. It could be that QuickTime or your movie player still has that video file open somewhere.
