Hi,
I'm going through your excellent DT Intro to rigging in XSI. In lesson -> the lesson about exporting the animated hand model -> I previewed the animation but got a lot of latency when playing the animation. I've tried different shading view modes and the OpenGL mode seems to perform best in terms of playback speed.
Here's my question: IS IT TRUE THAT YOU GET THE BEST PLAYBACK SPEED USING OPENGL MODE AND A DECENT GRAPHICS CARD?
Everyone is always talking about rendering when the talk about GPU's in 3D software. IT LOOKS TO ME THAT IN PREVIEWING ANIMATION YOU HAVE THE MOST BENEFIT OF USING A DECENT GPU.
TRUE OR NOT?
Comments, please;
