I tried to animate a simple worm like thing:

I used a simple chain of bones to bend that thing.
Then I had to rotate it 180° because it puts up its other end for bending over again.

How can this be done in a easier and more flexible way?
This worm shall walk over several structures. It would be helpful to find a way thats easy AND flexible.

I thought about Spline IK and clustered Spline CVs used as blend shapes. But sounds like an overkill for that simple wormy thingy.

Anybody fresh and shiny ideas??

Hey DaSir!

Personally, I would probably go with the Spline IK and cluster set up. You can get a lot of great control from using it, and I really don't see it being cumbersome to set up. You should try it.
