Cant get right click menu/cant select tools on left side bar

Hi, i have a major problem, yesturday it was working fine but now, when i load
up my scene, and i left click on my object, then hold down right click nothing
appears, also when i need to use the move tool, scale tool i try and click on
them but nothing happens they dont get selected. How can i rectify this please.

Try updating your video card driver and see if that works. If it doesn't then completely remove Maya from your HD and do a fresh install. Hope that helps.

I have the same problem after I play a game (can't right click anywhere in Maya). A reboot always fixes it.
