hey there, i was doing your bullet animation from your realflow dvd, i am not sure if i should mesh the gas from behind the bullet or not....

I tried importing just the particles into maya and applied a cloud effect on it , with a very transparent blinn + refraction, it looks alright but not oo wow kinda thing...

Any ideas on how to render the bullet trail in maya... should i be exporting a mesh rather from realFlow?

well thanks for the imput..if anyone else has this problem , export a smoke Alpha render and use 2d distortions in your comp program to create the "refraction" look.
