Newbie Need help. [Archive]

I loaded image plane for front view and this is what happened to my persp view port.

Above is persp view port and below is front view.

I don't know why it does it. Any one could help me out?

Also is there any option that I can set everything in Maya to default?(back to out of box state for everything.)

I don't know about the default settings, but the plane skew can be solved with this fix. It worked for me.

Hi There

To set everything to default first close maya then you go to (windows) my documents / maya / 7 (or whatever version you have)

There should be a folder called prefs... rename it to myprefs.

restart maya and whalla you will then start maya up in the "factory" default view.
