Good morning.
I have started to use your learning videos and i can say that they are really helpfull,full of information,step by step.
Can you tell me please what kind of mouse can i use using 3DS max?
I have a mous with 2 buttons.The problem is,when i want to orbit around the object or use pan view i have to click at
the bottom on right side.Do i have to use a mouse with three buttons?If yes,can you tell me what kind of mouse?Any
internet shop where could i get it.Thank you

If you look at the system requierements for 3Ds Max than you will see that you need a mouse with three buttons.

Any mouse with three buttons would work

The best is the wheel mouse with 3 buttons the wheel mouse you can zoom in and out but i find this annoying so i just use the interface tools on the botton right of the screen the wheel mouse eitther goes to far in when you slide the wheel up or to far out when you move it back.

the mouse interface is to complex to write the whole thing down and as we CGI artist don't have the time. We don't get paid for that, we help ppl on here when they need it. If you are a beginner read the tutortials that come with max and the manuals they will tell you a lot about max and how to use the software


you can get the wheel mouse at any computer shop you don't have to go online search the net for wheel mouses and you find a bunch.
