I accidentally used a keyboard shortcut, not sure which key, and it put me in Paint mode. I had thought I had gotten out of that mode, but when I saved the file it gave a warning that I had a Paint effect and did I want to save it. How do I insure that it, Paint, is not still running in the background, and would it have created nodes I should delete?
I am using Maya 8.
Thanks!!

The shortcut key is 8, 7-is show scene with lights, 6-is show textures, 5-shaded mode, 4-wireframe mode, 1,2,3-are LOD(level of detail) levels used to speed up your workflow. It will always ask for saving Paint Effects if you get in Paint mode.So just say "no" and it will delete all of Paint Effects nodes and other stuff connected to them.
Greate if it helped a bit! Good luck!

Thanks very much!! Maybe overly concerned, but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the keyboard shortcut breakdown. That will help!!
