Am a bit new to RF but have all the plug-ins installed with Maya.

Running 2011 Maya and RF4. Have imported many meshes with the current software versions.

However on 1 project in particular when I try to import the mesh.bin into Maya all I get is a cube.

I can select the cube. In Maya it is called realFlowMesh1... It looks like a bounding box that I cannot change into the mesh. I can see all my other geometry just fine?

Any ideas?

Thanks guys.

Hi !

the cube is just a symbol to indicate that the mesh bin files could not be loaded. This can be due to the naming of the files, or maybe the bin files have been deleted in the meantime from the harddisc, or the mesh files are bad.... etc.

I was stumped on this one for a little bit. I exported out of Realfow and instead of a 5 digit padding system I took it down to 3. I restarted Maya and everything imported just fine. Odd. I'm not sure what the problem was. I really think Maya needed a restart as I've imported a few meshes with a padding of 5 or more digits.

Thanks for the reply.
