SubDiv Modelling Problem

Hi im using the Modelling a female android tutorial. I get to the point where i have to extrude the subdiv cylinder, alls fine except when i extrude is distortion.

Then if i leave it and extrude the edges again, its normal, i dont know whats wrong.

Please help.

in the polygons->tool options->keep faces together is checked or not ??

if not check it

yes is a subd surface but you extrude the POLY cage

No, the same thing happens, but the thing is, when this happens and i extrude it, its still distorted, but, when i click on extrude again, its normal.

I can tell in the pic that your manipulator is set to loca; click on the small blue circle which toggles between local and world space.
