Hi Guy's,
I found this amazing yacht on the internet so I will model this one. You can rent it for a small amount of $50,000 a week. If we go with 500 people it's only 100 bucks :tongue:

I hope so, it's tricky without blueprints. :)

There are indeed some blueprints on the net but in very poor quality or very low resolution. I think we have to eyeball it this time.
yeah, its a good practice tho man, cause sometimes we just wont get the perfect reference images, even for character modeling you can get only like 3/4 drawing and have to model it from that, so practice makes perfect :D
Cheers!

Hi all,
Here is a update:
Blocked out almost all of the main surface. Now I have to place some edge's to smooth out the surface and add some details in. Then I will start adding the fences and holes in yacht.

Very nice work. I particularly like the look of the natural flow of the beveling on the upper two decks.

man this is like god work..... it looks like somebody took a picture of it in hd...... the lighting and materials are perfect... but, just a to make a little perfect i suggest that you change the color of the water... it looks a little blueish.... but other than that magnificent work...... incredible work...

Wow... looking great man!!
Are those chairs on the middle section chairs with wheels? Lol, should be a lot of fun on a boat with that kind of chairs ;)

Hi All,
I have my animation ready :) it's sort of a turntable around the yacht.

@stwert and DjVoyager, Thanks :)
@Anitricks, thanks and yeah the water color was wrong. In the animation I had to change some stuff to get good render speeds for the animation.
@spyro Thanks, That you saw that hahaha removed the wheels of those chairs :)
