As this project is starting to take off, it is time to start making a task list.
But before we do that, I would like to ask you guys which tasks you would like to do.

Concept (Design)
Modeling
Shading/Texturing
Lighting/Rendering
Post-Production

Please indicate in which field(s) you are interested and if you can tell us why. And also mention your skill level in these fields. (everyone can help no matter which skill level) This will make it easier for the project manager to do his/her job.

Example:
-Concept: I have alot of imagination and I like coming up with characters. (Intermediate)
-Lighting/Rendering: I haven't got alot experience in this field yet, so I would like to increase my skills. (Novice)

PS: Once we have chosen a Project theme and the Project Manager is elected, he/she will probably take over this thread and post the available tasks. The project manager will also assign the tasks, but you guys can just ask to do a specific job and then you will probably get that job. (if it just was that easy in real life :p)

I would like to do modeling and maybe some Uv mapping and texturing. I don't have much experience in Uv/texturing so I'm hoping these community projects will help me.

You can see some of my work on my DeviantArt (http://xpandemic.deviantart.com/gallery/) (I only have two models up, will get more when I have time)

Modeling (Intermediate): Mainly props, I'm not quite good and modeling characters but if you need one I can give it my best.
Uv/Texturing (Novice): I've played around with uvs and textures but would like to gain more experience.

I wouldn't mind doing some hard-surface modelling if there is some, props and things I guess. Novice-Intermediate I suppose.
Also, composing the scene should be a task, someone with a good eye for composition.

I can do them all but I am a noob doing them .Atomic on a serious note though for the things you have tasked out you should come up with some sub category on what you need modeled .Like a list .By the way I dont know if your doing it but you forgot rigging.

Fusedgore if you are a noob, I'm an ubernoob. But you are not... :D
Yea offcourse it's not like one person will have to do all modeling, this will be broken up in many small tasks.
As for Rigging, we are not going to do an animation just yet. We will first do a poster/image and if everything goes ok, we can do the animation.

I will also put up the two polls (Project Manager & Project Theme), so pls everyone put out your vote. And we will be able to get this show on the road. :)

Id be glad to help out when I can. I can model at id say an intermediate to advanced level, both hard surface and organic models. So I could probably help with a few props here and there rather quickly. Texturing/Shading networks im fairly good at as well, I can make tileable textures(With some time).
