Woohoo! So thrilled... And great job everyone, some really sweet animations!
And Dule... if you want to, you could send me your scene and I would render it out for you. An animation that good deserves to be rendered, I think. Let me know.

Congratulations Stewert. You really did do a great job overall on your animation. You did a clean, very nice environment, and had a nice little story with the balls, and gave each ball an interesting personality. Nice work. :dance

Congrats Stwert! Your little ball fellas got real personalty. Great work :)

About the animation I did... the thing is, its actually made out of 4 scene files, only 2 of which I bothered to light and texture before realizing I cant render the thing out at this time.
So the thing isnt really complete. If ya wanna see the files I can still send 'em to ya, but truth is I'm very sloppy with scene organization generally, and making these scenes while in a huge rush, has made the outliner hard to look at even for me.

Thanks guys. Glad you liked it. Well, it's up to you Dule, I just thought if you really wanted your scene rendered, I could put some of my system to work on it.

So I decided to buy Mastering Maya 2009 (http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Maya-2009-Eric-Keller/dp/0470392207/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1276627079&sr=8-1) by Eric Keller with the gift certificate. Looks like a great book for learning and reference. I love the DT videos, but sometimes it's just easier to crack a book when you want to refresh yourself on some point. :)
So thanks DT, for more learning materials and the awesome fun contest.
