This year's Austin Game Conference was a great show with a great group of people. Digital-Tutors had the opportunity to present some really popular training sessions and we had a chance to meet several of our customers and long-time friends. Here are the pictures from AGC. Special thanks to Jen, Mark, Yvan, and Reid of Softimage for making this a great show.

Awesome pics! :) Poor Josh got cut off from the top though.
So how long are these training sessions? Do the attendees give you feedback, like evaluate a session?

Looks like alot of fun, any chance there will be a similar event with Maya? DT, you all look like you're becoming Softimage centric. I realize you still provide training with Maya but between the photos from Siggraph and now this, what gives?

Dj,

The training sessions at the Dell Artzone were 90 minutes each and covered a gamut of topics. Attendees get the chance to interact, ask questions, and provide feedback on the training, similar to the training center at Siggraph.

crutch,

Something Maya-related is well in the works. Also, we are working on several events coming soon. We have an incredible relationship with Softimage and if you've ever had the chance to meet their team, you would understand how it's easy to be a fan.

Not to worry, I assure you. We have several Maya training titles coming soon covering topics such as animation, rendering, lighting, modeling, and more.

Thanks sandip, glad to here it. I just like the idea of attending something Maya related with DT at the wheel. In addition, I live in the mid-west so it's not as though attending would be such a chore.

It was fantastic! Wish I could have gotten my hands on some of those giveaways though :)

This is correct. After speaking with Reid and the DT about Softimage I made a purchase for the student edition. I cannot wait to get it in the mail and get to work!

My head did get cut off but thats fine I was happy when he took it...I was in awe of XSI :)

I look foward to everything coming down the pipe!
