Hi Guys,

I have nearly no experience in modelling in 3dsmax. I am trying to make a 3d head model of a person without lips. So I take a head model and delete the lip vertices now I am left with a hole.

How can I fill this hole smoothly (mouth and eyes) such that it seems like a masked face with no lips and no eyes. Would really appreciate any help. I am attaching the picture below so that you can see what I am talking about.

I did try to use cap holes modifier but it doesn't give good results. Any ideas ?

Cheers

You should never delete the vertext's unless you really need too on the mouth or eyes i always use the cut tool to cut around them both or use the line tool to trace around the eyes and mouth then add a extude modlifer then boolean the lines so you they look simpler to the photo in your viewport. i doubt you can use the turbosmooth to just smooth out just the eyes and mouth. B/C once apply to the stack the TS will smooth out the whole face.
