image sequence driving light intensity?

hey all,

have an image sequence alpha pumped into the intensity on a point light...it works in maya software and MR, but for some reason RFM isn't recognizing it...the thing that i'm maybe thinking, is that my image sequence is a tiny size (4x4)...is that too small? i've gone through tiff and targa format, also tried to use luminance instead of alpha, but still no go...using rfm 1.0, maya 7 (this setup is beyond my control)

yea same for me, i doubt its size related mine is 1k*1k. there must be a way to do it.
