This is my first project i'll be posting here on the DT forums. My goal for this project was to accurately model the exterior of a Chevy Camaro between 2008 and 2010. Model some basic interior details to fake a level of realism. Then use the completed model in a short animation of a lift opening, followed by the car slowly rising to the top.
Adding some sound effects into the scene such as engine start/idle, the clicking of the lift as the gears slowly raise the platform to the top. Among other various time consuming goals lol.

Attached a few previous test renders, I'll post a few updated renders of where I am currently soon. Oh, And just for fun, A vitamin bottle I did when I needed to clear my head and step back a sec from the Camaro project :)

Also looking very clean and sharp. :)

Question to the community at large. Is there a way to turn mayas MR physical sun/sky into essentially a MR physical moon/sky. I'm playing around with settings and I can't seem to come close. However some other lights besides the Skylight may help. My goal is to finish this as a nighttime scene in a back alley of some kind.

I understand that rotating the light gives me essentially an automatic and easy to use tool to set light during daytime however, its not exsactly translating into nighttime/moonlight.

Heres one shot at -130 -170 and then -220. Some spot lights to simulate the headlights would help tremendously, however i think i should be able to get some basic moonlight working before I need to set those up. Maybe im wrong.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for reading!
