This was a really fun kit and I have to say I learned a lot. I've taken a few programming classes, but it's never really made sense until now.
Can't wait for the next kit. Flash/Database integration in the context of an RPG game I assume. :biggrin:
Some changes I made:
Use the Arrow keys to move and Space to shoot.
Changed a few graphics.
Hitting the powerup will powerup your ship permanently, but you're not invincible.
Added some random speeds to the enemies. Right after I put this in I tried the game and one of the zigzags swooshed into me in the first second. It was pretty suprising.
The power-up comes from randomly destroyed enemies, so if you have trouble getting one: kill more enemies.
edit: Oh yea, and you only can have 6 bullets on the screen at one time, so use them wisely :wink:
Known Bugs:
If you have a powerup on screen and you shoot another enemy and randomly get a powerup the old one will just move to the new spot.
