NOTE:well i posted this in the wrong area by mistake the first time, now its not.
im not sure where this would belong or any thing, but im working on creating a small space battle.
ive created a battleship, destroyer, patroll ship, 8 fighters and an assult carrier of my own designs.
i want to have my battleship take on 3 stardestroyers that i modeled to sort of portray its power but with the aid of my destroyers.
the problem i have is, i dont know how to make laser effects work, i was told to use programs like "ICE" and "AFTER EFFECTS" to do this, but i dont know how to use them ether.
does any one know of any good tutorials on how to make effects like that?
im talking pulse lasers, beam lasers, glows from torpedos/missiles and the like.
i have not seen any thing even close to this ..... yet.
