Dear Community,
I really like the tutorials made by Digital-Tutors, but in Nuke I am running into some issues. For example the Trigonometry course - you need the Primatte tool. Well, the Primatte tool is disabled in the PLE version of Nuke and Nuke licenses are too expensive to just use them for a hobby.

It would be great if the Nuke tutorials are also targeted to PLE versions.

Hi Julian E,

That lesson was more an interesting way to use the Primatte node, you can use the other Keyer tools in a similar manner, or just color correct it without any Keying mask.

We'll try to keep the PLE version in mind, but sometimes the full tool-set is needed to get the most out of Nuke.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, that's right, too bad The Foundry doesn't offer affordable non-commercial licenses.
