Hey guys, first i would like to say how really awesome this website is and thank you for the training. I was just wondering cause maybe i missed something but how do i lower opacity in nuke to a read image? I think i missed it in the introduction to nuke. Thanks.

Hi johnnyguitarist,
There really isn't anything called Opacity in a read node. What kinda of effect are you trying to do? You can use an Add Channels node set to channels -> Alpha and use the color slider to change the alpha (transparency) of that layer. If you're using a Merge node, you can use the mix slider to set the strength or amount of merging.
