View Full Version : how to get particles to fill an animated object with several parts

hey.
i have an animated object which i have imported into realflow from maya. This object has about 5 parts to it, 3 of which move (which mean i cant combine all parts into one, and realflow cant import groups). I currently have a pool of particles on a ground plane, which i now want to take the shape of the object which i imported, preferably while it is animating. is this possible? at the moment i can only select one object for the magic node to operate on (which i am assuming is the right node to use here). Does that mean that to do this i would have to use 5 seperate magic nodes (which would probably mean about a years simulation time per frame!!!) and if i did, would the particles spread themselves evenly among each surface the magic node is attached to?
