Hey guy,
thought i'd have another go at a competition so i'm gonna do a drum kit. Going for a realistic setting with some nice chrome materials and paint
here's what i got so far

looks like there's alot of entries for this comp. did the last competition and there was only 4 entries.
I should actually say i'm an intermediate user of maya, trying to do a few more competitions just to get experience and build up my portfolio so I can get a job in the industry, hopefully on the game side of things
looks great so far!!! and good luck finding a job.
again, cant wait to see more of this :D

I think you should take a subscription to DT to have a full access to their tutorial it is really helpful and it will be easier to get a job with all these tuts

cheers mikey, been thinking about a subscription for a while, already bought a few tutorials, just need the time and money.

Thanx guys it's much appreciated. Any criticism will be welcome too. Personally I think the background is a little boring and the symbol material isnt quite right.

looks great man, the symbol material could use some circulal\radial lines bump IMO, but not really cause it aint no close up of the symbol :D
Anyhow great project i really like it.
