Question about learning to texture?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me which training kit would be better to teach me how to make textures and UV map? Would I want to go with these 2 kits ( UV Layout in Maya, 3D Texturing in Maya and Photoshop ) or this kit ( Maya in Production, vol.3: Texturing )

For the layout you should go with UV layout in Maya, for the texturing you should probably go with 3D texturing in maya abf photoshop because that is a continuation of the other kit, so you will already have a nice layout to start with.
