Box issue

Hey guys,
I am trying to finish up a video for work and I am running into a problem that I cant seem to fix. Therefore I am coming to the experts!!

I have an intro that uses a feather effect but I keep getting a box line that is very visible through the feather effect. Any way I can make that sharp line dissapear? I tried increasing the feather effect and it is still there. I tried expanding the box more that is causing the problem hoping it would be out of the shot but yet again it is still showing through the feather effect. A picture is attached to help you get an idea of what I am talking about.

EDIT: after looking at the image I posted i thought I would clear up which "box" or sharp lines I am talking about. it is NOT the red box next to the hands. Its the sharp line below that red box and to the left side, its the same color as the feather effect it just is a sharp border, I need that to be blurred or feathered some how. Thanks!

Hi CGswan,

How are you creating that effect? is there a mask with feathering on that layer? If so, you need to set your mask expansion to a negative number. Feathering extend a mask both out and in, so what it looks like is part of the feather is on the edge of that layer. Another work around is to add a Channel Blur and blur the alpha channel.
