Maya License

I was just wondering if you can switch the name on a license. The company I work for now bought me Maya and now my contract is over. So I was talking to one of the guys here and he said they would probably sell me Maya. But it isn't registered in my name, so I wouldn't want to buy it if I couldn't switch it into my name. Does anyone know if you can do this?

It is probably best that you contact Autodesk about this, they will probably know better :)
