3ds Max 2010 Viewport Color

I just recently upgraded to 2010, out of necessity as I am a student and they require the latest versions. But I was really thrown back by how dark the viewport is. Is there any way to change the viewport to be lighter of more like the old default grey?

Yes u can change the viewport to lighter by changing the UI to ame-light. for this goto
customize--> Load custom UI scheme----> select ame-light. which is in the Ui folder of 3ds max.... If u want to change the color of viewpor only then go to Customize--> customize User Interface----> color.. select viewports from drop down ....:eyeRoll

max and maya are to completely different programs you cannot do the shortcuts in max then you can do in maya and the other way around
