This is my first time in the Digital Tutors' Contest.
I want to capture the suprise of a girl with her chocolat egg :)
I'm working with Maya.

I'm using Maya and Photoshop and I will render with Mental Ray.
I'm a junior. I have recently finished a 3D Modeling and Animation program (May 2009).

Project: Tropical Slush Egg
Title: Unexpected
Maya, Photoshop and Mental Ray.
Level: Junior

This surprise egg contains an unusual toy: a tropical slush car with a mini ice shaver. My goal was to show the surprise and joy of a little girl when she opens the egg.
Her head and big eyes are oval like the egg.
I like the contrast between the toy and the girl: hard surface modeling & realistic style vs organic modeling & cartoon style.
