Pre loader

can you create a pre-loader on one scene to load the movie from another scene?

If this doesn't make sence, I want to put my pre-loader on one scene and after my movie is loaded I want a enter button to goto my other scene (my main movie).

Not sure how to really do this, I don't know the action script to link to scene together. Can anyone help?

Yes it's possible. When your preloader reaches 100%, just use gotoAndPlay(scenename, framenumber).

You know I've tried that very thing so many times, and it never seems to work for me. I just put the three frames in the beginning of my flash movies and forget all about scenes.
