How to open an .xsi file

How can I open a file with an .xsi extension? I have been trying to import the file but I can not do this. Any ideas?

But are you doing the 'import dotXSI' ?
As it wont import unless you do it that way I believe.

I am afraid it does not work this way. When I use this a message appears (below) and Softimiage shuts down. I tried to use different options to import this file but nothing works.

Thanks for the reply but the problem has been solved ;)
For some reason the file was corrupted. Everything works fine after receiving the right file.
