I went to Highend and all their shaders didn't turn out to good. So I started to play around myself. The lighter color is going to be a Chrome looking gray, if I can get it right. I need it to be very reflective almost like a mirror. I just can't figuare out how.
It's a phong, with it's reflectivity set to 1, anything high it gets washed out. I'm using a HDR image for the lighting and a small point light. Mental Ray of course, with final Gather and Global Illumination turn on.

This would take a while for me to explain so I figured in this case I provide a link for you with makes things a bit easier. Notice the chrome on the top part of the lighter (quite realistic looking rendering). Follow the tutorial and you should get what you are looking for.

PS - I can only advise to buy the Introduction to Hyper Shade, mastering maya render nodes and/or shading networks in maya kit from the site here. They teach you all you need to know to achieve most every look you desire.

Why are you going to highend3d for shaders? You dont need to download any shaders; the only shaders you'll ever need for photorealism come with Mental Ray for Maya already, all the tools you need to do film quality work are exposed in the hypershade. Also, that tutorial comes nothing close to chrome. I wouldnt follow that tut, find a good one that teaches physically accurate chrome shader simulation.
P.S. Your chrome doesnt look anything like chrome because your using a phong. If your trying to do anything photorealistic, than you have to use realistic world values and nodes. Mental Ray provides all of this for you. If you use Maya's cheap hack shaders, your going to get cheap results. I cant possibly give you a walkthrough of how to render that watch, but I will say that MR has the tools neccessary to make that watch look so real you could put it into a commerical or movie. Keep researching and you might just figure it out. ;)

Try the tutorial for the time being, it at least points you in the right direction and various settings to at least get half way descent results. However jak carver is right the mental ray kit on the site along with photorealistic car modeling will have youre chrome shining in notime. They are better than the tutorial I provided even though it uses a similar setup. I like the look of the chrome from the lighter and my mitsubishi is quite shiny aswell. Start with the tutorial if you have no idear where to start, and than purchase the mental ray kits from the site.
P.S - Isnt that a chrome piece on top of a lighter, than I would think it comes near at least. In any case jdempsey12 I wish you good luck and google the subject a bit, many tutorials pop up on the issue "chrome hdri". :)

Thanks guy's but I played around with some more HDRI's and got the result I was looking for.
I already have the Mental Ray, Photoreal car, Advance Shading network and Render node kits, plus a few others, I really enjoy DT's kits. It's helping become a much better artist, thanks again guys.
I put an update in my member gallery,
