Hi
This is not a problem or anything, bur I am having some troubles to figure out how to work with slime:
Letīs say that I have edited in slime a shader in a scene named myScene_01.
Then I save this scene as myScene_02 because it is a work in progress. The problem is that the shader is saved in a folder created for myScene_01 so when I saved it as myScene_02 the route of the shader is lost....
I work a lot doing many savings of the same scene. So for each new saved scene I loose the shader.
What is the right way to work??
Thanks

You have to to recompile all of your shaders when you save a new scene.

The SLIM pallette gets disconnected from the scene. You can also save a new slim palette every time you save a new maya scene.

Yes.That is what I was doing, but isnīt that a pain?..I guess Iīll keep using maya materials.
What is the diference between using a maya material with a renderman attribute added, and using directly a renderman shader...for example,is there any diference between a blin with a SSS renderman material attribute and a SSS renderman material.

PS:that for the reply,I am getting one each month if I am lucky :eyeRoll
