how do i reset my settings to default?

can someone please tell me how to set my settings back to default?

Go into your Window -> Setting Preferences -> Edit (on the menu bar on top) and there you find Restore Settings to default. Some settings wont be reset such as shortcuts for viewports etc. Hope it does the job for you ;)

Did you do a search on the helpdesk first im sure you can find it there or inside the maya docs.

Will this reset the viewport bookmarks? (hope so).
I have 2xSides, 1x Front and 1x persp. It's pretty messed up.

If its just a view port problem then you shouldn't really have to reset it back to default.

You can click one of the preset on the left side with the toolbar (assuming you haven't turned it off its the bottom left 4 or so icons)
