Well here it is, i would do a short animation but my render time is 30 min per frame so i gues i need a better pc lol.
anyhow i hope you guys like it il make sure to post more renders soon enough.

I thought Backgammon & checkers are the same game but looks like its not. Anyway great start, 30 mins per frame!!!! Unbelievable...

Dean, when you do get your monster I highly recommend rendering this with final gather. You'll end up with a fine animation that can be used as a product presentation on a demo reel :)
Yeah final gather kicks ass, i play with it at work, so i think i might bring the project at work and make a short animation :D.

I agree Wt DJ. It can be really hard to get a simple object to look realistic. Much more so then something with a lot of complex shapes.
Using indirect lighting is an expensive but crucial step to getting good results in such matters.
Nice board btw. How would you say it. "it kicks ass"?
