It could be just a drawing error. Try a restart of Maya.

You may also try opening your perspective view and go to Shading > Wireframe on Shaded. It may have accidentally got turned on...

hi guy's I try everything. but still nothing change. I can not attach file or image here. error upload file. I don.t know why. the image size is jpeg 130 kb . it is small enough for attachment.
It might be your sub-d / poly cage you are seeing. Can you verify that it is the poly cage on your sub-d surface.

It's a bug in maya, i've had the same problem..nothing works not even undo, it usually happens when your in the poly/ sub-d cage papa mentiond, It happens when you do a lot of converting back and fourth, If your in the poly/ sub-d cage and try to convert to regular polys maya hates that and you will get your cage stuck on your model....when ever you work in sub-d's doing converts always save a master copy on another layer or in another file......hope this helps

you r right DJ NIIne, that is what happend to me. I convert poly/sub d .after that I convert sub/poly return. after that the blueline(wireframe. looks like wireframe appear on surface), it is very hard to get rid of them, wireframe on/off doesn't help. I think the only way just start again to model this part of surface. I think this problem comes for everyone. it is best to find the solution now. thanks guy's for replay.
I try attach the image to here but it doesn.t work. error upload. jpeg 130 kb (small enough) any idee?

Hey I realize that this post hasn't been looked at for a LONG time. However I absolutely HATE when this happens. Your best plan is to convert it back to a poly then convert to a subdiv then convert back to a poly... that goes on and on until finally when one of the times you convert there's no blue line.
It's a brutal bug in Maya and it bugged me real bad!

Hi everyone,
This error happens when you convert from a Sub-D to a Polygon with the Poly cage visible. What you can do is go into the outliner and dial down the geometry's node and delete the node that is named something like this "polyToSubdShape1HistPoly". This will remove the blue cage.

Hey guys:)
I have this same problem. I was gonna ask if this bug really makes a difference to you project when I realized that the object with this bug did not show up in the render. It is actually "seeThrough" in the viewPort aswell. Is THIS the problem with this bug? Or am I experiencing something unrelated?
