i am unable to use syflex the error is?

hi buddies and admin i am from pakistan my name is Adeel,, woking only in Maya 7 and motion builder :D,,
i have installed the syflex 100% according the instruction but when i load the plugin of sylex in plugin manager i got a error after doing this and after rerunning the maya 7 "the error is(syflex: entering cash mode)"
tell me how to solve this error i need to use sylex and i am very impressed by digital tutors website it is my favourite website..

If you are 100% sure you installed the software corectly. Then there is probably something wrong with your product key. I think the best is to contact syflex and have the key confirmed.

ohh brother before installing the software i got a key into my msn account but i don't know what is going wrong with sylex... a strange error "syflex: entering cash mode" what a strange and soule killer errorr..
i followed the given instruction from syflex readme.text :(
do you any other idea what is going wrong?

I had the same problem few days ago until i figured it out. :headbang:

The problem is, the server isn't running. Syserv.exe is the server i think. You need to activate it. Here's how.

Go to the origional syflex folder. And depending on what system you are using choose either linux, mac or windows if that's what you are using.

If it's windows. Double click the "win" icon. Assuming you already have everything else installed. Now double click syadam.exe. Out pops a window saying stuff like start, stop, ? and reset. First type in "?" and enter, and message will come saying server not running. Now type in "reset" and it will reset and enter. Again, type in "start". The message might come that server isn't running again.

So now what you do is go back to the folder where syadam.exe is located. You'll notice that syserve.exe and also in that folder. Double click that hopely the server will be running. Check your process list and you'll find it running there.

Now each time you restart your computer, you might have to activate your server before using syflex in Maya. So just use syserve.exe to activate it. And only syserve.exe. That would do it.

And now you can use Syflex in Maya. Good luck :wink:
