Creating a animated gif from maya

Hello Guys,

I am just getting to grips with Maya after coming from 3DSMAX, Is there a way I can create animated gif's easily with maya?

In max you just create a .fli file and convert with fli2gif.exe.

Any help would be appreciated.

In your render settings(windows>rendering editors>render settings) change your image format to gif then batch render it(render>batch render) to view the progress got to your script editor(windows>general editors>script editor).
