I saw the trailer and although I thought the animation was quite nice, the characters seemed a little strange. Maybe Im just use to the old movies but I didnt really like the turtles new look.

I gotta say the skin looks nice. But I'm with barryk50 ... the new leaner look throws me off a little.

Just viewed the trailer with a friend of mine and we thought it was definatly quite nice. The camera movements out of 3D software packages (wich ever one they used) in my opinion are perfect for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Finally there is some real speed in the animation wich I kinda missed in the regular tv cartoon. Perfect for 3D, probalby one of the best cartoons to pick to use for a 3d movie in my opinion.

However I think Haunted House will be better, story wise (something new without expectations) and animation wise aswell, since they used for the second time only so far a special animation technique, wich was also used in Polar Express. I can't wait for both of em. :)

The Turtles look great like the old school comics, not the cartoon and kiddy stuff. But the old dark turtles in the black and white comics back in the day.I can't wait to see them in action. Go Mikey Go! He is my fav scent we both have the same name Michealangelo.

Yeah like devilman13 just said. They actually modeled them based of the original comic books. Getting rid of all that fluffy cartoon for tv look. ;)

I can't wait for it. It looks like a different style CG than the typical Pixar, Dreamworks stuff so I am happy.

The animation is pretty cool, kinda like a mixture of anime and those 90s TMNT movies (not cartoons). The lighting is done in the same way, CG adds flow to the movements. I hope it'll be able to pull off at the box office, and revive those good old memories when we used to collect TMNT action figures :D (where are they now?)

TMNT III, the one with shredder, that was a good one. I think I have that on VHS somewhere. I hope they keep that looks for the turtles. Also I hope they keep a decent story line, that one had character development as well as action.

I agree. They're probably calling it that because the demographic, at that time, was pre-teens (especially boys), who're now all grown up, early and mid 20s  ....soooo, they thought TMNT sounds mature than Teenage mutaan blah blah. Anyways, that's my crazy theory.
