Is it possible to set up a reflection map in the Render Tree so that I can use an image to create a reflection instead of setting up an actual background. If so, can someone walk me through the steps. I am new to all of this.

Hey Alamokid, welcome to DT :)
Well I know of 2 ways of doing this.
1. Create an environment sphere encompassing your scene, and map an image to it, then every reflective object within your scene wil reflect the "fake" environment.
2. Simply map an image to your "specular colour" on your material, then every object with hat shader will have its reflection mapped.
