How do I import a .fbx-file (from Cinema4D) to Maya with correct camera rotations?

I have to convert a C4D-file to Maya, and the only way to export seems to be as a .fbx. The objects are animating correctly in Maya, but the camera is way off. It moves right but rotates wrong. I have tried moving its axis in graph ed, and changing rotation order in attr ed. No success.

I would be so happy if there is an easy solution. Don't want to re-animate a 3 min shot..!
Thanx

Have you used the latest fbx converter for your application? The fbx plugin alone in some cases might not be enough. I just looked into the subject and found out that there is a special tool offered from autodesk (google it) named fbx converter. It is specially designed to convert files between differrent applications. I though maybe you havent looked into it and this info could help you a bit hopefully. You have to be a bronze membership at alias however to be able to download the converter. Good Luck
