hi, im trying 2 make a bunch of bullets-shells flying out of a mini-gun.
im using the particle instancer, but the shells only fly away straight, and when they hit the ground plane, they collide but do not act as rigid body's.
is it possible 2 make instancers 2 act as real rigid body's?

When you initially created the particles, did you use the instancer replacement option box, to select the instanced particle object? You can only make Particle Objects Collide I beleive and that has to be set up for the instanced particles themselves. Maybe this is the solution to your problem.

Take a look in your maya doc's - type in the search bar particle instance and scroll on the "left to all about particles instancer" (1st one on top) and than sroll further down and look at the information on "make particles collide with surface" (Tutorial). This should lead you in the right direction.
