Hey my scene is still untitled
but im going to make a man -[human]-
and few other "males" -[alien]-
it will be a kinda scary scene

You know the movie Pan's Labyrinth?
Hellboy?

Well the two attachments are there to explain you how the aliens will be.
[on the hellboy one its the guy on left]

So first, I will tell you how the caracters will be
Human - based on a reference picture that I found on a website, My human will be a normal guy, mid 30. Wearing a long coat, boots, jeans, [no shirt to look more barbarian!!!] he will be in front of the aliens shooting at them with his two hi-tech guns, a sword will be attached on his back.
or second option [for weapons and pose] he will be running toward them with an axe, mouth openned, ready to fight!

Aliens - Weird, noseless, long fingers, big black eye balls, slim. Their Weaponery will be limited to a sort of knife with 4blades (one pointing in front, 3 following their arms)
2 will be running toward the man, 1 will walk behind (bigger than the others.. the chief)

Now... the scene
there's two options
1- An alien ship crashed and they are running from there to the human... in fog, dust and sand

2- under a bridge, there'll be a wall of the bridge that will have a vortex or something like that... an hole in the bricks to let the aliens enter and the man will be the gardian of the hole...

So... what do you think about it?

[cant upload any attachment it says "hellboy01.JPG:
File system directory is not writable. "]

Hey there!

Im a big fan of Pan's Labyrinth, I think Guillermo Del Toro has some fantastic originality, and Im also a fan of Fantasy.

You're idea sounds really cool, I will be looking out for yr future posts! One thought that I had while reading...depends whether you're into gore or whether you think it will add to the scene. How about some blood on the fighter's clothes, or some dark green blood to illustrate alient blood? Just some thoughts.

Also I ocassionally go onto Area and have found some real good workflow tutorials. Heres two that came to mind when I was reading yr plans:

http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/tutorials/tutorial_index/making_of_the_hunter_by_alessandro_baldasseroni/

http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/tutorials/tutorial_index/tutorial_for_revolution

...you'll have to register but I think its worth it!

...also they're not exactly what you've described, but maybe they will give some inspiration. Good luck with project, sounds like it could be really cool :)

im currently working on the human's head
the progress is posted in the first post (attachment)
I will not be able to work on it before Xmas so.. it will probably go to middle of january for the next progress...

thx for every thing Johnny and I will try to give a good gore picture ;)

[progress will be posted an other day... DT seems to be having a problem or something cuz it alway write "File system directory is not writable. "]
