Yo:)

After seeing Justin's video tut over and over, I decided to give this car a go.
Usually, my 3ds max work consists of automotive projects, being concept designs or modeling after market parts for existing models.
I have done a few cars modeled after blueprints as well, but not that many.

So, here are a few shots of the Mustang, after about 1 hour of work.
I have to admit, that the wheels have taken the longest to do, because I simply love modeling wheels, and these were the objects, that I could model and finish completely, before the car was even started on;)

C&C are more than welcome:)
btw: I am following Justin's procedures, because I was looking for ways (reasons) to get out of my normal poly-modeling methodes;)

reg, Dave

Okay, here's some progress:
I did turn back to my n00bish polymodeling techniques, because I have to admit, that I'm still "scared" of using splines etc

Mind you: the video tut about making an Audi A3 (not DT) was my introduction into modeling, and I have stayed with it eversince...

C&C are welcome:)

Hey, that's one impressive model!

Could you checkout my thread here (http://www.digitaltutors.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17081)?

Would love to hear your comments on the (still very primitive) edge flow, until I do much more work on that, especially the "nose", I don't think it's really optimal yet.

It's my first shot at car modeling. I'm using XSI, but it's really not that different from Max, after all, it's the edge flow that matters :)

Thanks!
